MOUNTAIN´S BACK VILLAGE

On Friday evening Mark went to his village in Cantabria, to his grandmother’s house. His mother’s name was Lucia and she was very stressed, because it was evening and on the road there will be a traffic jam. At five o’clock they went out home and they put their suitcases on the boot. On the road, like their mother said, there was traffic jam, because a lot of people went on summer holidays. They were on the road about four hours, so they arrived al nine o’clock; it was night, so they ate dinner and went to the bed. Mark’s grandmother was very happy because Mark, Lucia and his father, Pedro, only went there on Christmas and summer.
The next day Mark got up at eleven o’clock because he was very tired of the journey. He ate and dressed and he went out to his friend’s house, his friends were very glad to see him. They were talking about school and then they decided to revenge on a child from the village, called Fran. They wanted to do that because Fran, one day, threw them balloons with water. Mark and friends had an idea; they decided to throw him into the river.
They said to Fran:
- Why we don’t became friends?-
- I don’t Know – said Fran
- Come with us and we go playing
- Ok – said Fran
They went to the river and they threw Fran. Fran was very angry but Mark and his friends were very happy, they laughed during a long time, Lucía called Mark to go for lunch, so he met with friends at two o’clock, but Lucía said:
- When you finish lunch you’re going to help us with the cows and with the cowshed.
- Ok, but then, can I go out with my friends, please?
- Of course, you can but, first like I tell you, help us.
When Mark finished lunch he helped his mother with the cowshed and his father and grandparents with the cows and the field, then he went with friends. They were waiting him a long time, and his best friend, called Peter, said:
- This night we all are going to sleep in my house, do you want to sleep in my house too?
- I want, but I have to ask my mother. Come with me and you ask her, ok?
- Ok let´s go.
Peter asked Lucía and the mother said:
- Ok, he can go but he has to help until seven o’clock.
At seven Mark took his pyjamas and went out, but his grandmother, María said:
- Take care, because on Sundays, the people of the village say that a man is in the street and that he does very strange things.
- Ok- said Peter and Mark.
When they were going to Peter’s house they told this to their friends.
- Do you think that this is true?
- No, I think that this is false; I think that my grandmother only wants to scare us.
- I thing that is true – said other friend.
- I don’t know , but we are going to know tonight – said Peter
- Why?- said Mark
- Because at night we are going to be in the street- said Peter.
- Ok – said all the friends – it’s going to be fun.
When all finished dinner they went out, they sat in some big rocks. They were speaking when they heared a noise.
- What’s that! – said Peter.
Nobody answered. They heard some steps.
- Run! – said Mark.
They went to a cave. For a long time they didn’t heared anything, so they went out. In the rock where they had sat before there was something written, but they couldn’t see very well because it was dark. Someone was behind them. It was Fran!! Now they have to revenge again but not like the previous day. Now, he has to be very scared!!!.
